For buyers

Your people want to help. Now it counts.

The hardest part of buying a first home is rarely the mortgage payment. It is the pile of cash the door asks for up front. Dreamfund turns the support you already have, from family, friends, and your employer, into a documented down payment a lender can work with.

A fund that is yours, at a bank

When you open a home fund, a deposit account is opened in your own name at a partner bank. You are the account holder from day one. Dreamfund is the program manager and technology partner around that account: it runs the fund, tracks your progress, and handles the paperwork, while the money itself sits at the bank until closing, when it releases only to a licensed settlement agent. And if plans change, contributions return to the people who gave them.

Every gift arrives lender-ready

A screenshot of a payment app is not evidence an underwriter can use. On Dreamfund, every gift generates a lender-ready gift letter meeting agency documentation standards, recording the amount, the giver’s name and relationship to you, and a signed statement that no repayment is expected. Each dollar carries a source and a timestamp, so the file you hand your lender already answers the questions they are required to ask.

A map before the march

Before you save a dollar, the Dream Score maps the down payment assistance programs and employer benefits you may qualify for, in about 4 minutes, free, with no credit pull. Many buyers discover their real gap is far smaller than the sticker number. HUD-approved housing counseling is integrated too, because counseled buyers close at higher rates and many assistance programs require an approved course.
