About Dreamfund

At Dream Fund, we are redefining the path to homeownership for first-time buyers. We provide a secure, automated platform that solves the biggest hurdle in real estate: the down payment gap. Our platform lets buyers aggregate capital from family, friends, and community networks into deposit accounts opened in the buyer's own name at our bank partner.

More than a savings tool, Dreamfund is compliance infrastructure, generating lender-ready gift documentation and audit trails that keep buyers mortgage-ready. We build and ship with an agentic engineering fleet, and we are looking for someone who wants to make that fleet better.

The role

We are seeking an AI Tech Development Intern to help accelerate our engineering pipeline by optimizing our agentic software development system.

This role is built for an AI-first developer who knows that the future of coding is collaborative with AI. You will build, update, and leverage AI coding agents to multiply your output, while applying strict human-in-the-loop oversight to protect code quality, security, and a genuinely simple user experience.

What you will do

What we are looking for

Academic status

Currently enrolled at a U.S. college or university as a junior, senior, master's, or PhD candidate. Computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred.

AI-first developer

Highly proficient leveraging LLMs and AI coding assistants to write, debug, and refactor code. You have opinions about which tools earn their place in your workflow.

Quality and security focus

You understand that AI writes the code but you own the outcome. You have a strong grasp of secure coding practices, especially around sensitive user and financial data.

Self-starter

You can thrive remotely at about 10 hours a week, driving maximum impact through smart automation and agent deployment.

Commitment and credit

This is a part-time internship of roughly 10 hours per week, performed remotely. You must be based in the United States.

This internship is offered for academic credit and is open only to students who are able to receive credit from their college or university for the work. It is not a salaried position. If your institution requires a supervisor agreement, learning objectives, or an evaluation at the end of the term, we will complete that paperwork with you.

Email us your resume, your LinkedIn, and a brief description of the AI tools and agents you currently use to maximize your output.
